Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and is the final authority on all aspects of Christian doctrine and
Christian living.
It reveals future
events with
accuracy.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
2 Timothy 3:16
God
We believe in One God who created the entire universe.

He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He alone is sovereign and supreme.
We believe in the Trinity and that God co-exists in three Persons - The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is God with us-Emmanuel

He is the son of God who came to earth and lived a sinless life.

He performed many signs and wonders.

He died on the cross for our sins, was buried and on the third day He rose from the grave.
He ascended into Heaven and will return to earth.
Salvation
We believe man is in great need of
salvation because
of his sinful nature which comes as result of the original sin by Adam and Eve.
All of us have sinned and offended God.
The consequences of sin are death and eternal suffering and seperation from God.
We believe that salvation can only be found in Jesus Christ

We believe those who believe in Jesus, accepting Him as their Lord and Saviour will spend their eternal life with Him in Heaven where there will be no sorrow.
Those who did not believe in Him will be eternally condemned and punished.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
Holy Spirit
We believe that the
Holy Spirit is our
Teacher and Counselor and He reminds us
what Jesus taught.

We believe in the Holy Spirit baptism with the evidence of speaking
in tongues.

We believe the Holy Spirit empowers us
with spiritual gifts as
He detemines. These gifts are for the benefit of the church and enable us to serve in
the church effectively.
Christian Living
We believe all Christians to strive to live holy lives and devote themselves to prayer, reading the Bible, serving, and sharing their faith.

We believe in prayer, such as praying for the sick that they will be healed. Because we believe that the Lord will supernaturally provide the healing.
We believe that Christians should take part in holy communion as commended by the Lord Jesus to remembering his sacrifical and atoning death on the cross.

We believe in water baptism by being immersed fully in the water. This takes places after you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
